digital EDGE media (dEm) is an audio visual integrator providing a vast array of unique communication solutions for small, medium, and large organizations. These include digital signage, integrated audio visual systems, large format digital displays, boardroom AV, and video conferencing solutions.

As part of our on-going ambitious growth plans, we have an immediate opening for the position of a Junior Designer

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Junior Designer will be responsible for severing as a technical consultant to the sales team, create block flow diagrams, labour estimates, collaborate with vendors, material estimates and interpret customer needs with product application.

KEY SKILLS

Requires versatility in the following skills:

• Signal flow
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• Ability to work independently
• Meet deadlines
• Advanced computer skills as required for design
• Populating quotes
• Ability to do basic AV troubleshooting

Assets

• Visio or Stardraw experience
• Formal education in electronics
• Audio-visual experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

The candidate must be:

• Fluent in English (written & oral)
• Eligible to work in Canada
• Have a valid class 5 Alberta drivers license
• Bondable

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Expected start Date: ASAP (negotiable)
• Remuneration: Salary, commensurate with experience & value
• Benefits: Dental, Medical, Prescriptions after three months
